This Land Rover Defender by Kahn Design sports 40 cm / 16” of extra nose

Yes, you have read it correctly. British tuner Kahn Design just finished working on its second Flying Huntsman 105 Longnose Defender SUV. For those who missed it, the company built its first one to celebrate the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in May 2018. Anyway, let us look at the details.

The car sports an extra 40 centimeters (16 inches) of hood, something that is hard to miss even if you are no specialist. Beside looking kind of cool, it serves a practical purpose as well, accommodating a 6.2-liter General Motors V8 rated at 435 hp (324 kW). The unit links to a new six-speed automatic transmission that allegedly delivers exceptional performance even in severe off-road conditions.

The car rides on an in-house-designed set of stainless-steel Defend 1984 Heritage wheels painted matte black. The sixteen-inchers come wrapped in Cooper Offroad 285x75x16 rubber.

This particular Land Rover Defender also sports the traditional Kahn body kit consisting of an X-Lander grille, front and rear aprons, huge bolt-on fenders, and a hood with a power dome in the middle.

The car wears a Volcanic Rock Satin paint, has modern LED lights, and takes advantage of the Twin Crosshair exhaust system.

Wrapping up the list of changes is a complete interior overhaul.

The Flying Huntsman 105 Longnose Defender by Kahn Design comes with a £150,000 price tag.
