McLaren makes an endurance racing comeback

The British supercar maker will once again compete in the World Endurance Championship.

Speaking about the decision, McLaren CEO Zak Brown put a particular emphasis on nostalgic feelings. He admitted that, ever since the legendary McLaren F1 GTR won the gold of Le Mans three decades ago, the British company has been dreaming about replicating that success.

The automaker will enter the season of 2027 aiming into the Hypercar category. This is all there is to know to date.
