A Swedish motorhome specialist by the name of Kabe has filmed a video dedicated to a rather unusual conversion, the Imperial i860 LGB. With a Mercedes bus at its base, it offers enough creature comforts to please anyone, not just travel enthusiasts.
The front end of the vehicle belongs to a spacious dining area furnished with sofas and swiveling seats. You can unfold the sofas into an additional sleeping area. The main bedroom resides in the back and offers bunk beds accessible vis ladders. Lots of storage room is also available at that end.
The middle of the cabin is occupied by a fully stocked kitchen and a bathroom, which is partitioned into a sink/WC area and a shower cabin. Optionally, you can go for a single-space shower/WC separated with a door from the rest of the motorhome.
As we said above, the i860 LGB runs on Mercedes underpinnings. It has a 170-PS (168-hp / 125-kW) engine and starts from €237,300 in Europe, which is roughly equivalent to U.S. $250,000.
