Mansory unleashes a G-Class for the offensively rich

Mansory’s Linea d’Arabo line of vehicles comes adorned with natural gold and intricate Arabic writing patterns, satisfying the aesthetic cravings of the most well-off Middle East clients. Rolls-Royce Cullinan seems to be the most often commissioned model, but someone decided to be different and ordered a similar overhaul of the Mercedes-AMG G 63.

We were unable to find whether the rich texture covering the entire body of this G-Wagon is wrap or hand-applied paint, but there is no denying that the result is bold and head-turning. A saturated shade of brown looks great along with an ornament of golden squiggles, and while most of the body kit seems to be color-matched to the car, some carbon-fiber parts do stand out. Lighter-hued, polished brown wheels add an extra bit of visual punch.

The aero kit is decidedly too much for an SUV and consists of a boxy hood with vents, redesigned front and rear aprons, a sharp-looking rear diffuser and an upper rear spoiler accompanied by a light bar at the opposite side of the roof.

Then there’s the interior, which is awash with top-quality leather and carbon fiber. Sophisticated patterns and textures adorn every surface in view, all stitching is handmade and Mansory logos can be found on the doors, the seats and the floor mats. The rear doors are back-hinged in a manner that suits Rolls-Royce but arguably not an off-roader like the G-Class, and the running boards are automatic.

Rounding off the upgrades is an engine tune to 820 PS (809 hp / 603 kW).
