Beek Auto Racing is a tuning company from Netherlands that has taken a liking to modding the exclusive Mini John Cooper Works GP. Its latest project is a bit unusual, because it alters the appearance of the British hot hatch.
Specifically, this one tries hard to look just like the Ford Escort RS Cosworth. It uses a flashy blue-and-white wrap designed by Fleek Wraps Customizing to achieve that goal, and sports fashionable matte-black applications on its factory-flared fenders and some other parts.
The interior stays largely stock except for the steering wheel, which enjoys a makeover in a combination of leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber. The trim piece behind the digital dashboard is also new, but we were unable to spot any other notable modifications.
Things liven up considerably under the hood, where Manhart’s GP3 F350 tuning kit has been installed. Rather than its usual 306 PS (302 hp / 225 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque, the hatchback now produces 350 PS (345 hp / 257 kW) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft).
