AC Schnitzer rolls out exclusive aftermarket wheels for Mini cars

Every Mini vehicle is a fashion statement, and like any fashion, it can be ruined with improper accessories. AC Schnitzer worked hard to devise a wheel set that would perfectly suit four Mini models at once – the F65 and F66 hatchbacks, the F67 convertible and the J01 EV.

According to the announcement, the idea was to produce lightweight asymmetrical rims with intricate and beautiful spoke patterns. Every set is fabricated using low-pressure casting process and is fully compliant with the relevant EU norms. The tuner engraves its logo on the hubcaps.

The MI3 wheel measures 19 inches in diameter and 7.5 inches wide, accepting tires sized 225/35 R19. For best results, AC Schnitzer suggests using lowering springs to drop the ride height by 20–25 mm (0.8–1”) at the front axle and by 5–10 mm (0.2–0.4”) at the rear axle.

As seen in the gallery above, the wheels come in two finishes: glossy black and black with silver spoke faces. The German tuner’s catalog has recently been updated with new aerodynamic parts for the Mini as well – a front spoiler and a roof-mounted rear wing.
