Check out a Land Rover Defender trimmed with cowhide and sheep wool

ECD Automotive Design knows a thing or two about style-conscious Defender makeovers, and one of their latest projects is a Defender 130 truck adorned with a certain rustic chic.

Called the Project Mule, the car has heated Recaro seats inside wrapped in Capelli Natural Light Brown leather with white accents, and sheep wool on the door cards, glove compartment and armrest, and oak inserts elsewhere. A special kind of oak-tanned leather envelopes the steering wheel, the dashboard and the door handles. Plain black floor mats look almost alien juxtaposed against all that opulence.

The exterior is typical ECD fare: there is a Fox suspension kit with a 50mm (2-in) lift, Brembo calipers and a new front bumper with a winch, among other highlights. The bed is lined with teakwood, and the engine bay houses an LS3 V8 rated at its native 430 PS (424 hp / 316 kW) and 576 Nm (425 lb-ft) of torque.

How do you like this farmer’s Def?
