4th-gen Nissan Elgrand announced

The fourth generation of Nissan’s Elgrand van will be fully introduced later this year, but won’t go on sale in Japan until 2026.

For now, all we know on official terms is that the van will take advantage of the automaker’s e-Power hybrid system. It features a highly efficient 1.5-liter range-extender engine and a pair of electric motors. Only the motors drive the wheels.

The current, third generation of the Elgrand has lingered around for 15 years now. It remains in production, but desperately needs a refresh.
