Cars&Bids is auctioning off a 1985 Pontiac Fiero tuned to look like the legendary Ferrari F50 (see video).
The tuner stretched the original chassis in both dimensions to bring it closer to the actual size of the F50. A custom GFRP body kit was designed for the project and a pair of headlights was borrowed from another car with some adjustments. The owner even managed to procure a similar-looking wheel set, although it is still visibly different from the original one.
The entire cabin stayed stock, unless you are willing to point out all the slapped-on Ferrari badges. The power still comes from the standard V6 mated to a 3-speed A/T. The genuine F50 had a V12, so it should be far ahead of its Pontiac replica in terms of performance.
