Six-wheeled Rezvani Hercules pickup breaks cover with 1,300 HP

Rezvani has finally premiered its long-awaited Hercules pickup truck with the 6x6-wheel-drive formula.

The car is a Jeep Wrangler at heart, as evidenced by its body frame, chassis and transmission. The dimensions are quite impressive at 6,198 mm (20.33 ft.) long, 2,286 mm (7.5 ft.) wide and 2,007 mm (6.58 ft.) tall. The distance between the front and the middle axle amounts to 3,505 mm (11.5 ft.), and the middle-to-rear axle distance is 991 mm (3.25 ft.). The truck bed length is 2,377 mm (7.8 ft.).

Depending on your choice of drive mode, the truck can drive two, four or all six wheels at once. Springs are used for suspension everywhere, and there is an extra Offroad package that comes with new Fox shocks, a lift kit and special tires.

Customers can choose from four available engines, including a V6 EcoDiesel 3.0L (260 hp / 194 kW, 600 Nm / 443 lb-ft), a V6 Pentastar 3.6L (285 hp / 213 kW, 353 Nm / 260 lb-ft), a V8 Hemi 6.4L (500 hp / 373 kW, 583 Nm / 430 lb-ft), and a high-end V8 7.0L (1,300 hp / 969 kW, 1,341 Nm / 989 lb-ft).

The most powerful engine represents a heavily modified 6.2-liter V8 originally rated at 1,000 hp (745 kW) and 1,180 Nm (870 lb-ft). The mods, apart from the increase in displacement volume, include new distribution shaft, better pistons and a Dodge Demon supercharger. This engine ships exclusively with the eight-speed automatic transmission of the Ram TRX, while the others offer a choice between it and a six-speed manual.

The cabin comes wrapped in leather and is generally little different from the OEM Wrangler interior.

Prices start from U.S. $225,000. A Rezvani Hercules Military Edition armored to the B7 standard and coming exclusively with V8 power under the hood will set you back $325,000 or more.
