YENİLİKLER
The summer heat of 2020 has caused many a car to black out, and the luxury-laden BMW X7 joins the list of casualties with the limited Dark Shadow Edition.
The series emerges in 600 units restricted to certain markets. Detailed information is only available for the United States right now: BMW will be selling 75 SUVs there priced starting from $119,495. Other markets should follow next month.
Technically, the car is an M50i spec armed with a 4.4-liter V8, 530 hp (395 kW), eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The suspension is air-cushioned by default, and the body comes painted Frozen Arctic Grey by BMW Individual with no further options on the list.
True to its name, the BMW X7 Dark Shadow Edition trades all of its chrome parts for glossy-black ones. This includes front bumper details, radiator grille and its frame, roof railings and exhaust tips. The 22-inch wheels also wear midnight.
The inside space is trimmed with black and dark blue Merino and Nappa leather, as well as matching Alcantara. Some options are already included in the trim level, such as the bad weather assist, electronic driving aids, and premium comfort seats.
The only real choice BMW gives to the buyer is whether to opt for individual “captain’s” seats for the second row or keep the practical three-seater sofa.
