Honda’s new compact EV shows up without camo

After previewing a small electric vehicle for Europe called the Super EV Concept in June, Honda has brought it to the Goodwood Festival of Speed and revealed the main details.

Apparently, the production car will be called Honda N-One e:. There’s just one official teaser photo of it, but Goodwood guests have photographed the concept as well. As you can see, it is clearly designed to succeed the affordable Honda e city car than went in production a while ago. The name also references Honda’s N-One Kei car, but that one is 3.5 meters (136 inches) long and packs a 0.7-liter petrol engine.

The new model is fully electric, and that’s all we know to date. If anything, it looks barely different from the concept. There’s a charging port in the faux grille and a same-sized port on the other side whose purpose remains a mystery.

More info will follow later this month. The full premiere is slated for September, and although Honda isn’t saying where it will take place, the IAA Mobility Expo in Munich is a safe bet.
