The production quantity of the Skoda Fabia crossed five million units this week.
The first generation of the car came out in 1999. The current – fourth – generation has been in production at the Skoda HQ in Mlada Boleslav, Czechia, since 2021. It is currently Skoda’s smallest and cheapest vehicle on the market, and the third popular after the Octavia and Kamiq. In 2024, the company found buyers for 117,000 examples.
Moving forward, Skoda expects to keep the gas-powered hatchback alive until at least 2030.
