Mansory offers an alternative to its outrageously purple 12Cilindri

In September last year, Mansory unveiled its first modded Ferrari 12Cilindri (see video). It was a rather flamboyant example with a predominantly purple finish, so we expected something more reserved to come next. Fast-forward to present day, and the German tuner has presented Nero Ventos seen in the gallery above. We’ll leave it to you to decide whether that’s any more reserved or not in the slightest.

Translated from Spanish as “Black Winds”, the Nero Ventos body kit dramatically changes how the 12Cilindri is perceived. It is barely even recognizable as a Ferrari with an over-the-top front splitter made from the company’s beloved “forged” carbon fiber, a matching rear diffuser, a redesigned front bumper and a hood adorned with the Italian tricolor. More forged carbon patterns can be seen on the a-pillars and the roof, while the wheel arches are occupied by Vossen VF.5 rims.

The interior is typical Mansory, which implies an abundance of fine leather, Alcantara and still more carbon covering every surface in view. Strategically placed yellow accents help create what one may call a coherent visual aesthetic.

Powering the ride is a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 tuned to deliver 855 PS (843 hp / 629 kW) and 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels. We don’t have any sprint measurements, but the standard 12Cilindri can hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds. This modded one might pull off a 2.8-second launch thanks to its extra 25 horses.

All pricing details are private, as usual. Buying a Ferrari like this in the U.S. will set you back $474,000 before options.
