USA threatens raising tariffs on European car imports

U.S. President Donald Trump says he may enact an additional 10% tariff on all vehicles imported from Europe due to how “unfair” the current customs fees are.

According to the presidential administration, all vehicles exported from the United States to the European Union are subject to a 10% import fee. In turn, all cars leaving Europe for America are only eligible for a 2.5% fee.

The final decision remains to be announced.
