The Acura NSX perfectly illustrates the common wisdom that the grass is always greener on the other side: revered for its looks and performance in the rest of the world, it is nonetheless often modded beyond recognition in Japan. Here’s another such example.

The styling package originates from VeilSide, a tuning shop that rose to fame thanks to its radical take on the rotary-engined Mazda RX-7 from the movie Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift. That supercar was barely recognizable under all the makeup, and this NSX follows its example to the letter.

Our personal highlights include a front bumper with unexpectedly huge headlights, a yellow full-body wrap with some black splattered on, longer side skirts, bespoke yellow rims, and a one-off rear wing. The cabin follows the same color scheme and boasts a modern three-spoke steering wheel.
