New Alpine A110 modification spotted running on the North Loop

Another version of the Alpine A110 has been spied on the Nürburgring track the other day. Its name remains unknown, but everything suggests that Alpine is getting ready to release an even more capable variant of its sports coupe.

The nose of the prototype mimics that of the existing A110 R (see video), but with a redesigned splitter and side canards, as well as larger hood intakes.

A look behind Y-spoked wheels reveals red brake calipers at both ends. The ground clearance seems even smaller than that of the R. The latter car uses a 1.8-liter turbo four-pot to hit the wheels with 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW) and sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds. It remains to be seen what the new modification is capable of.
