Video: This 1,000-PS Audi RS7 Sportback outpaces Bugatti Veyron

Watch what a tuned Audi RS7 Sportback can do with enough tuning (spoiler: it sprints 0-200 km/h in seven seconds flat).

Powering the flagship liftback is a four-liter eight-cylinder engine normally turbocharged to 605 PS (597 hp / 445 kW). The author of the video is tight-lipped about the details, but mentions that his car was upgraded to slam the asphalt with more than 1,000 horsepower (750+ kW) and more than 1,300 Newton-meters (959+ lb-ft) of torque.

In the video, the Audi needs 2.5 seconds to zap from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph), another 4.5 seconds to reach 200 km/h (124 mph), and mere 9.64 seconds to complete its quarter-mile run at 235 km/h (146 mph). For reference, even the Bugatti Veyron needs around one-third of a second longer to get to its second hundred.
