Is the Dakar-ready Audi RS Q E-Tron any good on the drag strip?

Audi Sport has recently unveiled the RS Q E-Tron, a rally-focused electrified car designed with serious off-road performance in mind. Carwow decided to see whether it was also great at straight-line acceleration.

The RS Q E-Tron comes equipped with range-extender hybrid drivetrain that includes a turbocharged four-cylinder engine acting as a power generator for its twin electric motors. The motors hit the wheels with 680 PS (671 hp / 500 kW).

Its opponent on the drag strip is an RS E-Tron GT, a high-end production EV with 598 PS (590 hp / 440 kW) at its disposal and a temporary boost to 646 PS (637 hp / 475 kW). Aside from being less powerful, the car is also slightly heavier than its rival. On the upside, it has wider tires with better road grip.

With these parameters in mind, can you guess which one gets to win the quarter-mile race?
