The production of the E34 BMW 525i ended around two and a half decades ago, but it continues to be popular among fans and tuners. This example is from the United States and packs enough power to rival the latest sports cars.
Do not let yourself be fooled by the unassuming façade: this sedan is a sleeper. A set of OZ wheels and performance brakes at the front axle do not necessarily indicate extra performance, but this is very much the case with this particular 5-Series. A turbo kit under the hood drives the stock six-pot to around 660 PS (650 hp / 485 kW), out of which 568 PS (560 hp / 417 kW) makes it to the rear wheels. The transmission is five-speed manual and benefits from a stronger clutch. A limited-slip differential is also installed for extra traction.
According to the owner, tuning his aged 5-Series cost him around $15,000 all things considered.
