AC Schnitzer shows off its finished BMW M5 build

Following a series of announcements, German tuner AC Schnitzer has finally released its custom take on the BMW M5. The car gained engine improvements, new tech parts and a revised exterior.

Once applied, the upgrade gives the stock 4.4-liter V8 engine a boost to 700 hp (522 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb×ft) of torque. The power kit is unavailable for the M5 Competition at the moment, but the company says it will fix that soon.

Owners of the luxury sedan will be able to choose between two exhaust systems and three tailpipe designs (Sport, Carbon Sport and Sport Black).

The customization program also includes a suspension lowering kit, a set of 21-inch AC3 Forged Evo wheels with performance tires and a body kit.

The latter consists of a carbon-fiber front spoiler, side skirts, two rear spoilers (roof- and boot lid-mounted), and a diffusor. A massive rear wing is optionally available as well.

Interior options are scarce so far. There is a paddle shifter, pedal pads, a footrest and a key holder, all made of aluminum.
