G-Power launches a BMW M5 wagon with 1,000 PS

Soon after unleashing a 780-horsepower BMW M5 CS upon the world (see video), German tuner G-Power has produced a particularly extreme latest-gen M5 Touring.

The modifications squeeze 1,000 PS (986 hp / 735 kW) and 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft) of torque out of the stock hybrid powertrain. As usual, the tweaks only concern the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8, while the electric system stays unchanged.

It’s unclear how fast the new M5 is with this upgrade, but the stock car has plenty of muscle as it is, sprinting 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.4 seconds. And you have to be a diehard fan of G-Power to fork over the requested €31,297 for the G5M Bi-Turbo kit in Germany.

Other than the engine tune-up, the company now has body kit parts in stock for the G99 M5 Touring, custom exhaust systems and interior accessories. A full leather interior and bespoke forged wheels are also available. As you’d expect, most options are compatible with the G90 M5 sedan.
