G-Power expands its BMW M8 tuning options

Several weeks ago, G-Power unleashed one of its wildest BMW M8 coupes so far: the G8M Hurricane RS. It was blacked out and boosted to 840 PS (829 hp / 618 kW) along with 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) of torque. It also cost an eye-watering €60,000. The tuner has now followed up with a much more affordable version that’s almost as powerful.

The package is called “G8M Bi-Turbo” and raises the output of the coupe’s V8 to 820 PS (808 hp / 603 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque. Starting at €26,640, it’s not exactly cheap but doesn’t break the bank quite as much as the Hurricane RS does. Aside from the powertrain upgrade components, it includes a carbon-fiber hood cover, a rear wing and some other aero trim, as well as blackout décor.

Those looking to style their M8 in a vein that’s more elegant than aggressive may opt for a color combo seen here – deep, dark green with pale gold wheels for the accents. Upsized black exhaust tips and a carbon-fiber engine lid with a G-Power logo on it are listed under options.

It’s also worth mentioning that the German tuning company stocks up on all kinds of BMW tuning kits for all budgets. The tuner’s ultimate M8 is known as the G8M Hurricane RR, produces 900 PS (888 hp / 661 kW) and costs from €119,000 for the parts alone, car not included. On the other side of the spectrum, a mild boost to 700 PS (690 hp / 515 kW) will set you back just €2,495.
