Inkas turns Chevrolet Suburban into a mobile fortress

Canadian company Inkas Armored has unveiled a particularly well-protected version of the Chevrolet Suburban. The family SUV looks barely distinguishable from stock on the outside, but can withstand continuous AK-47 fire and simultaneous explosions of two hand grenades.

Other highlights include reinforced suspension, armored windows, and special tires that can run flat for a few dozen miles in an emergency. There are also performance brakes, a fire extinguishing system, and a loudspeaker for communication with the outside world.

As usual, those clients who find such thorough armor plating an overkill may ask Inkas for a lighter alternative.
