Ferrari Daytona SP3 shows up masquerading in camo after premiere, what could it mean?

The third entry in the exclusive Ferrari Icona lineup – the Daytona SP3 – debuted in the fall of 2021 sporting a design inspired by the marque’s historical racecars. No wonder it became the center of attention as soon as it rode out of the factory HQ in Maranello, Italy.

As you can see, the test vehicle wears a rather vivid camouflage wrap supposed to conceal its features, but it only succeeds to a certain extent. Much more importantly, we have already seen it debut on official terms over six months ago. What is going on? Could it be a one-off example customized before the delivery to a particular client? Let us know in the comments if you think you have a better idea than we do.

The Daytona SP3 comes powered by a mighty V12 engine rated at 840 PS (828 hp / 618 kW) and 697 Nm (514 lb-ft) of torque. It snaps of the start line and reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.85 seconds. The top speed lies higher than 340 km/h (211 mph). Of course, at $2,250,000 and skyward from that, it is priced accordingly.
