Witness Ferrari F12berlinetta at its wildest (and widest)

The Ferrari F12 has been quite a news generator for an expensive, exotic GT. Co-designed with Pininfarina, it came out in 2012 and proceeded to get numerous special editions, such as the F12tdf, the F60 & SP America, the TRS, the SG50 and so on. Overwhelmed by this abundance of choice, rich buyers could easily overlook the entry-level F12berlinetta – so Novitec made sure they didn’t.

The German tuning company adapted its N-Largo body kit for the model, making it 60 mm (2.4 inches) wider at the front and 110 mm (4.3 inches) wider at the back. The resulting total car width went over 2,050 mm (80 inches) – to the best of our knowledge, not even Ferrari offered the F12 as wide as that.

Aside from the flared fenders, the grand tourer wound up with redesigned bumpers, new rear quarter panels and side sill extensions. Some work was apparently done on the rear diffuser as well, and a fairly large rear wing was added for good measure. To round off the styling effort, Novitec introduced black trim throughout and moved the car onto a new set of forged wheels. We don’t know the specifics, but you can always contact VDM Cars, which published these photos, for more details.

Defying the definition of “entry-level”, the F12berlinetta came powered by a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 rated at 740 PS (730 hp / 544 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. Check out the video here to hear the Novitec version in action.
