Ferrari F80 breaks cover with 1,200 PS, €3.6M base price

Ferrari has unveiled its latest and greatest hypercar so far – the part-electric F80. It packs a V6, but still manages to deliver 1,200 PS (1,184 hp / 883 kW) to the wheels. Prices start from €3,600,000, Motor1 reports.

The V6 in question has a 120-degree cylinder camber angle and outputs 900 PS (888 hp / 662 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque all on its own. A trio of electric motors – two built into front wheel drive units and one mounted at the rear axle – contribute the remaining 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW). A 2.3-kWh battery pack ensures consistent power in all driving scenarios, but is too small to enable fully electric driving.

The F80 hits 100 km/h (62 mph) from standstill in 2.15 seconds and proceeds to claim 200 km/h (124 mph) in 5.75 seconds. It reaches a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph) and has a brake path of 28 meters (92 feet) from 100 km/h to zero.

Only 799 examples will be made. The assembly is scheduled to begin in late 2025.
