This JDM-customized Ferrari Testarossa is up for grabs in Japan

The exotic Ferrari Testarossa is a coveted possession of many a supercar collector, but this example from the Land of the Rising Sun will not be to everyone’s liking.

It doesn’t take much effort to see that tuning is the reason. Only stock Ferraris are truly valued, while this example has wheel arches that were cut and flared with black extensions not even painted to match the body. Adding insult to injury, these flares were riveted onto the body of the Testarossa with exposed hardware. At this point, some of you may automatically think ‘Liberty Walk’ – and be in the right: the famous JDM tuning shop was, indeed, responsible for this project.

Elsewhere, the car sports a bespoke rear diffuser and particularly large side skirts that make it almost sit on the asphalt thanks to an extreme suspension lowering. The list of mods goes on to mention HID headlights, a Tubi exhaust system and a set of deep-concave wheels finished in gloss black. The odometer reports around 13,000 km (~8,000 miles) of use, and the cabin and engine seem to be stock.

Goo Net – the seller website – does not mention any pricing details, inviting everyone interested to come forth with their own offers. After more than a week since posting, the ad remains listed.
