When Ford developed the new Bronco SUV, it never intended to sell it overseas, but the stance has changed. According to Automotive News Europe, the Ford Bronco will reach Europe in the coming spring priced starting from €60,000.
The buyers will be able to choose between a 2.3-liter EcoBoost V4 and a larger 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6. These engines produce 305 and 335 American horsepower in their U.S. spec (310 and 340 metric horsepower, respectively). However, these numbers may change due to different emission standards. Furthermore, the U.S. Bronco has a Raptor version with six cylinders and 423 PS (417 hp / 311 kW) at its disposal, which will not be available in the Old World countries.
When it reaches the showrooms in Europe, the Bronco will primarily have to compete against the Jeep Wrangler and some Land Rover Defender variants.
