Mountune’d Ford Focus ST outperforms the older Focus RS

Increasingly strict emission standards forced Ford to shelf its fourth-gen Focus RS project until better times. The ST spec still lives on in plenty of versions, however, including manual and automatic, gasoline and diesel, hatchback and wagon, stock and tuned.

In its latest update named M365 to the Focus ST M330, Mountune has cranked up the power to 364 metric horsepower (359 hp / 268 kW) and the torque to 560 Nm (413 lb-ft). The momentum still goes to the front axle. It is worth pointing out that in this form, the new ST becomes more powerful than the Focus RS Mk III, unless you count its farewell edition rated at 370 PS (365 hp / 272 kW).

One of the better things about the upgrade is that is costs as little as £574.
