RTR previews its first 2024 Ford Mustang body kit

RTR Vehicles, a tuning company founded by pro racing driver and drifter Vaughn Gittin-Jr., has posted a video dedicated to body kit and suspension upgrades for the latest Ford Mustang.

According to CarBuzz, the Spec 2 package is the first tuning kit for the new ‘Stang that we get to see in real-life images instead of renders or sketches. As you can see, it replaces the radiator grille while adding light accents at the sides and reshapes the front bumper with a different splitter. The hood cover gets a larger air intake.

Moving to the back, there is an impressively large spoiler and other aerodynamic parts. Inside the cabin, a new transmission lever and a plaque seem to be all additions.

The suspension benefits from RTR Tactical Performance springs, adjustable dampers and sway bars. The ground clearance is reduced, but we aren’t told how much. The arches reveal new 20-inch RTR Aero wheels shod in Nitto rubber.

The tuning kit costs U.S. $12,495 on top of the price of the Mustang GT. As an alternative, you could consider a standard Mustang Dark Horse, which comes in at a bit less and is 20 horsepower above the RTR version. Specifically, its 5.0-liter V8 produces 507 PS (500 hp / 373 kW) and 566 Nm (417 lb-ft) of torque.
