A Honda Civic with 999,999 miles under the belt found in the USA

This 2005 Honda Civic sedan/saloon has 999,999 miles (over 1,600,000 kilometers) showing on its odometer.

The car was going through another scheduled maintenance at a Honda authorized service center in Marion, Ohio. Interestingly, it still had its stock engine and transmission. Its owner has only changed the ECU, the starter and some other, mostly minor, components.

Cars with crazy mileage are not exactly uncommon in the United States. Last year, Hyundai America released a short documentary dedicated to Farrah Haines and her Hyundai Elantra with more than a million miles under the belt.
