Liberty Walk properly enrages the Honda Civic Type R

The famous JDM tuner Liberty Walk took a break from modifying supercars to launch an over-the-top styling package for the Honda Civic – or, to be more specific, the sporty Type R variant thereof.

Judging by the phrasing of the announcement, Liberty Walk carried out the project in a collaboration with suspension manufacturer AGT Shock. The hot hatch ended up with a front splitter, widened wheel arches, a rear diffuser, a rear wing and a few other styling parts. The example pictured here was additionally fitted with Alpharex headlights, aftermarket wheels and slammed suspension, likely also coming from AGT Shock.

No powertrain upgrades were mentioned, implying that this Civic still pushes 320 PS (325 hp / 235 kW) to the wheels. On the upside, we already know the pricing of the main kit. The glass-fiber plastic version of it costs U.S. $11,000. Swapping a few components out for carbon-fiber ones raises the price to $16,380. The wheels, the headlamps and the suspension mods aren’t included, just like the shipment and installation.
