Jeep Wrangler undergoes face surgery at Chelsea

Chelsea Truck Company, a subsidiary of UK-based Kahn Design, has introduced an aftermarket radiator grille for the latest Jeep Wrangler.

Apparently inspired by the 1941 Willys Jeep, it loses the SUV’s signature seven-bar grille in favor of a much more modern-looking matte-black mesh. It features rounded-square air vents and matching headlight surrounds. To complete the look, Chelsea installs 20-inch forged wheels shod in off-road tires. Customers can ask for a custom lettering to be applied onto the grille, like the “1941” seen here.

There is no mention of the price, but Chelsea has plenty of other tuning options for the Wrangler in store (see video). One of their grille designs costs £1,440, which corresponds to $1,900.
