The South Korean automaker has come to Mexico with a new modification of its K3 model: a five-door hatchback. It will go on sale in the country next year, with all prices still pending.
The car is 4,295 mm long, 1,495 mm wide and 1,765 mm tall with 2,670 mm between the axles. It looks much like its sedan counterpart except for the rear end, which now has a tailgate, a fake diffuser and a rather prominent spoiler. Slightly higher ground clearance and a rugged body kit lend it an SUV-like appearance.
Things stay the same inside with a two-spoke steering wheel and the same displays as in the K3 sedan.
The engine lineup is represented by two naturally aspirated mills. The 1.5-liter one produces 123 PS (121 hp / 90 kW) and 150 Nm (111 lb-ft) of torque, while the 2.0-liter option gives you 152 PS (150 hp / 112 kW) and 191 Nm (141 lb-ft) of torque.
