New Kia K900 shows up on official shots

Kia has posted a handful of photos of its new K900 sedan known domestically as the K9. Let’s see how the design has evolved.

The car boasts a considerably larger radiator grille and narrowed headlights. The dual-section taillights are gone, and there is now a thin LED stripe and a chrome bar connecting the lights at the rear. The license plate now resides on the bumper, rather than the tailgate, and the 19-inch wheel set has also been redesigned.

It is believed that the sedan will continue to be available with its usual 3.8-liter naturally aspirated six-cylinder and a turbocharged six-pot in South Korea. In the previous generation, the two were rated at 315 PS (311 hp / 232 kW) and 370 PS (365 hp / 272 kW), respectively. The eight-speed automatic transmission and the choice between RWD and AWD will also likely remain unchanged.
