Christian von Koenigsegg has found a rather ingenious way to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day by having his Koenigsegg Regera drift its way through the snow in the shape of a heart.
The stunt was performed on a runway next to the company’s headquarters in Ängelholm, Sweden. It starred a standard 2017 Regera hypercar, which comes powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and triple electric motors. The wheels are driven directly without a gearbox of any kind, and the cumulative output amounts to 1,500 PS (1,479 hp / 1,103 kW) and 2,000 Nm (1,475 lb-ft). The car weighs 1,590 kg (3,505 lbs), sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.8 seconds, and maxes out at 400 km/h (248 miles per hour).
All 80 production units had been sold out in the first production year starting from U.S. $2,000,000 apiece.
