One out of 20 Lamborghini Centenario coupes made will cross the auction block in Dubai, UAE this Saturday, March 9, estimated between 2 and 2.5 million USD. With only 112 km (70 miles) on the counter, it is basically new.
The Centenario model (see video) was introduced in 2016 as the Italian brand’s homage to Ferruccio Lamborghini on his 100th anniversary. The company based it on the Aventador monocoque, but made sure to modify both the body and the chassis for it to be unique.
Specifically, the Centenario was Lambo’s first supercar in history to support rear-wheel steering. Its bodywork was fabricated from carbon fiber and styled after that of high-end racecars. The 6.5-liter V12 under the hood was also special and churned out 770 PS (759 hp / 566 kW). The car could sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in three seconds flat and ultimately exceed 350 km/h (217 mph).
The matte-black example seen here was made in 2017. The listing says it had one owner throughout its entire life, who had never drove it even one. The mileage seen on the odo apparently comes from pre-sale tests.
