Lamborghini has confirmed the impending premieres of three new products for 2022, with one coming up later this month. A short teaser vid reveals that it will be a particularly powerful special edition of the Urus.
The footage shows the performance SUV wrapped in mottled camo driven along a windy road to the Pikes Peak. The accompanying description claims that the performance will reach ‘a new dimension’, and the off-screen voice says that ‘anything can happen when you go this fast’. The latter part sounds almost ominous in the context of the Pikes Peak track with its 156 sharp twists and turns, high elevation and hardly any safety barriers.
If we had to guess what kind of Urus it is, we are only considering two possibilities: the Evo and the PHEV. Both have been spotted testing out in the open multiple times by now, so their premiere is just a matter of time. One may arrive ahead of the other, and we wouldn’t know which, but the wait will soon be over anyway – just stay tuned.
