Lexus has revealed the IS facelift in Japan. There are both cosmetic and technical improvements, so let’s take a closer look.
As far as trims are concerned, there’s a new one on the list called F Sport Mode Black V. It features forged alloy BBS rims, vivid red brake calipers and Ultrasuede trim in the cabin. Those looking for sporty character will be interesting in TRD components including front bumper trims, side mirror caps, side sill extensions, a rear diffuser and exhaust finisher tips.
An interesting upgrade comes in the form of a vibration damper for the rear suspension said to reduce overall vibrations and noise while making steering more immediate and precise. It helps that the new IS features an improved power steering mechanism as well.
Inside, there are two 12.3-inch displays for the dashboard and the infotainment, as well as new color and material options to choose from for the trim.
