Lincoln teases its first EV

Car manufacturer Lincoln will be celebrating its 100-year anniversary next year, and has prepared its very first all-electric car for the event. Here are a few teasers to keep you intrigued.

Overall, the vehicle resembles the Zephyr Reflection Concept that debuted at a motor show in Shanghai earlier this year. Among other things, it sports a large panoramic top and a spacious cabin with a minimalistic design.

Powering the car is a flexible technological platform that lends itself well to RWD and AWD all-electric vehicles. No specifications have been made public so far, but Lincoln says it has production plans for four different models based on this chassis and powertrain.

The company expects to have electrified its entire lineup by the beginning of the next decade, which seems to be a rather distant perspective, since it only has two plug-in hybrids on offer right now.
