The all-electric Lucid Gravity SUV went into production in early December with up to 700 km (435 miles) of OEM-rated range. It has now passed EPA certification, and the results are good.
Specifically, the agency found that the EV can do 724 km (450 miles) on a single charge. This is true for the range-topping Grand Touring spec, which commands 840 PS (828 hp / 618 kW) and 118 kilowatt-hours of battery capacity. It rides on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels.
The more affordable specs have yet to be certified. Even so, the Lucid Gravity now reigns supreme in its own vehicle class as far as range is concerned.
Preorders are already being processed starting from U.S. $94,900. Lucid promises us an entry-level alternative later, which will cost roughly $15,000 less. In mid-2025, ordering will open in Europe.
