Mercedes CLK63 Black Series flaunts ADV.1 wheels

The magnificent Mercedes CLK63 Black Series (W209) had initially debuted as a Formula 1 safety car, and it wasn’t until later that the manufacturer decided to release a street-legal version of it. It arrived on the market boasting gorgeous racecar looks, 507 horses under the hood and the ability to sprint 0-200 km/h (0-125 mph) in fourteen seconds flat, no small feat for a vehicle weighing in at 1.7 metric tons.

The one possible drawback – if you really had to find one – was a somewhat stock-ish set of silvery AMG wheels. Then again, the next logical move after buying a car like this would be to buy some fancy mods for it, which is exactly what the owner of this particular Mercedes CLK63 Black Series did.

Race! South Africa retrofitted the vehicle with a more aesthetic set of ADV.7 Track Spec Series forged rims made by ADV.1. The three-piece wheels are 20 inches large and finished glossy black.

Apparently, the owner decided against messing with the suspension of his ride. Could he be wrong about that? Would this CLK63 benefit from a lower stance? What is your opinion?
