G-Wagen tries on a new body kit from Larte

German tuning company Larte Design has produced a complete carbon-fiber styling package for the current Mercedes-Benz G-Class. The goal was to create an exciting new look for the G-Wagen without messing with its already-capable hardware.

Modifications start at the front with a raised and muscular-looking hood cover sporting a “naked carbon” finish. The added louvers and vents are supposed to improve the cooling for the V8 beneath, but we don’t have any performance statistics to share with you.

Matching the hood are a front bumper and a splitter executed in a similar fashion. These are mirrored by a rear bumper and a diffuser at the back. The roof rocks a wing, and the tailgate carries a branded spare wheel cover made from the same lightweight material.

According to the tuner, all parts are made from high-tensile prepreg carbon fiber and are TÜV-certified for the roads of Germany. Incidentally, the whole production takes place in the same country. All prices are available upon request on their website and social media, as usual.
