RSR Project rolls out another Porsche 911 restomod worth $375k+

RSR Project, a car restoration shop based in New York City, has unveiled its latest project based on a Porsche 911 from the 1980s. The car has been torn down to individual parts, its drivetrain and interior completely removed, and restored bit-by-bit to peak condition.

The work took longer than a year. Once the body was complete, the tuners finished it in Gulf Blue with orange accents reminiscent of the iconic Gulf Oil livery. They also put 15-inch Braid wheels shod in Michelin TB-15 tires into the arches. Inside, they replaced the trim on the seats and wrapped the steering wheel in soft leather.

The brakes, the suspension and the engine have all been upgraded, too, although the details haven’t been released. The company says it offers a variety of 3.2-, 3.4- and 3.5-liter engine options for its restomods.

Prices for an RSR Porsche start from a bare minimum of $375,000. Every example takes between 12 and 15 months to create, and all creature comforts cost extra. For instance, the air conditioner alone will set you back a cool $10,000.
