We have covered many news stories generated by Apocalypse 6x6, a company dedicated to building some of the world’s most badass three-axle trucks, and the guys are now back with yet another remarkable project, the Ram 1500 TRX-based Apocalypse Juggernaut.
The car runs on three Dana 60 axles and six unique wheels wrapped in tires one meter (forty inches) in diameter. It benefits from two diff locks and five selectable drive modes for driving on normal roads, track, and different kinds of terrain.
Further highlights of the project include hand-crafted stainless-steel front and rear bumpers, automatic running boards and a panoramic roof. All-around view cameras help the driver compensate for the lacking field of view, and a 12-inch infotainment system on board plugged into a Harman Kardon audio system is sure to keep things lively at outdoor parties
Power for the truck comes from a 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 bolstered by an additional 150 horsepower to a total of 862 PS (850 hp / 634 kW). Thanks to this upgrade, the heavy truck can now tow trailers weighing up to nine metric tons (20,000 pounds).
