The first shots of the facelifted Renault Austral crossover have leaked online. The proper premiere won’t take place until next spring, so let’s take a look.
Having debuted in the spring of 2022, the Austral is still relatively new. You can browse the gallery below to see what the pre-facelift version looks like (images 3–14). It is one of Renault’s last vehicles to still feature the automaker’s old design language with large boomerang-like DRLs and other outdated features. The facelift does away with these features, making the front end resemble that of the 2023 Rafale coupe-SUV.
Aside from these cosmetic changes, we expect Renault to overhaul the engine lineup and ramp up the hybrid powertrain output across the range.
