The Rezvani Vengeance has recently debuted as a high-end custom car with the Cadillac Escalade buried deep under its thick, optionally bulletproof skin. However, the tuning goes way farther than just some fancy bodywork – open the official configurator and you will be able to turn the $249,000 starting package into a maxed-out war machine worth $630,000.
As soon as you specify a 6.2-liter V8 turbocharged to 691 hp (700 PS / 522 kW) and 885 Nm (653 lb-ft), the price jumps up by a cool 50 percent to $374,000. Ticking a sports exhaust system adds $4,500, and turning the seven-seater into an eight-seater takes another 1,500. Also on the list are temperature-controlled reclining massage seats, a larger display, an Apple TV and an iPad.
Further down is a military package worth $95,000. For their investment, buyers get bulletproof windows, seven sets of armor vests, helmets and gas masks, Run-Flat tires, a smokescreen, heavy-duty suspension, power-assisted door handles, an underbody shield for explosion protection, and a night vision system. Such essential miscellanea as a first aid kit and hypothermia treatment kit are also included.
The list goes on. Rezvani asks $4,500 for a rifle cabinet, $1,000 for a center console strongbox and $2,500 for a solar panel array. Opting for a winch adds $4,500, a roof-mounted LED bar will set you back another $2,750, and a heavy-duty trailer haul package bumps up the total by a further $3,500.
Buyers are free to choose from six standard exterior colors on offer. A camouflage wrap costs $7,500 and specifying your own shade comes in at $10,000.
