RDB LA comes up with a fresh and extravagant look for the RR Cullinan

The tuner team over at RDB has rolled out a rather odd-looking Rolls-Royce Cullinan painted milk white top to bottom with flared fenders, huge wheels and slammed suspension.

The body kit comes from 1016 Industries and incorporates a front splitter, side skirts, seamless wheel arch extensions at both ends and a fake diffuser at the rear end that’s barely visible in this sea of white. Normally, tuning projects give us more of a reason to use banalities like ‘sporty’ or ‘aggressive’, but this one is an exception. If anything, it looks rather tame and plasticky, devoid of sharp sporty lines and contrast.

A set of 26-inch wheels rescues the situation somewhat, but we are not sold on that dish shape. Normal spokes would have looked elegant; these look rather massive, adding to the already enormous white bulk of the luxobarge that is the Cullinan.

But perhaps you’d be more interested to know the background of this particular build. The thing is, it was exhibited at a SEMA show in Las Vegas wearing a violet paint coat with black wheels and a light-blue cabin. Many thought back then that picking complementary colors would be nice for a change. This is what the owner wanted to do, but it turned out the former aero kit (which was also from 1016 Industries) was glued on in a way that precluded removing it without destroying it.

Rewind to the present day, and the aero kit has been removed, the whole car restyled once more, and a new kit installed on top. So, what are your thoughts on this Cullinan? Is it better off in white?
