While you may find a reasonably well-equipped Tank 300 starting from a low $30,000 in China, Thai tuning company Shana E-Sport proposes putting it in a body kit that drives the price up to an eye-watering $80,000.
What’s especially impressive is that the body-on-frame off-roader gets to keep its entire powertrain intact. The amount quoted is for stylization only, and any interior upgrades cost extra. On the upside, you get a rather unique and good-looking machine.
Front end changes include a new bumper, reshaped headlights, a revised radiator grille, a hood with a massive air scoop and a matching set of fender flares. A look inside reveals 22-inch aftermarket wheels.
Novelty at the rear boils down to a new bumper with integrated diffuser, a spare wheel holder and a roof spoiler. Paying extra lets you reroute the exhaust system to exit near the rear doors, like on the original G-Wagon. Performance brakes and suspension mods are also listed under paid options.
The interior hasn’t been shown in detail yet, but we hear that Shana E-Sport carries out full bespoke makeovers.
